I’m a Doctor of Physical Therapy with 26 years of experience. I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Alabama State University in 2013, and my Master of Science in Physical Therapy from North Georgia College and State University in 2000.
Early in my career, I developed a passion for rehabilitating clients with lower limb amputation, which led me to devote much of my continuing education to amputee rehabilitation over the last 23 years. I’ve been teaching prosthetic rehab and gait training to graduate-level PT students at GSU since 2005, and at Mercer University since 2010, and I also teach nationally for Proteor, Inc., a prosthetics manufacturer.
My mission is simple: to “build an army of PTs competent in amputee rehab.” In January 2026, I sold my small private practice to launch Prosthetic & Orthotic Therapy Specialists (POTS) a PT/OT business dedicated to caring for prosthetic and orthotic users. This new chapter lets me bring my knowledge in amputee rehab to PTs and PTAs across five southeastern states, including Georgia, raising the standard of care for amputees throughout the region.
